I know I have been MIA for a while, I'm finding it difficult to find time to actually sit down and write a post... Sorry guys! So I've decided I'm going to keep these short and hopefully I will be able to get a few more posts up over the next few weeks.
Lets get into it then... so new lush purchase! I don't have many lush products, maybe 2 at the minute which I love but my friend had this and let me try it and erm WOW! Love it soooooooooo much! So much so I went and bought it, at £5.25! A bit of an extravagant purchase I know but my reasoning is my lips get so chapped and my thinking is prevention is the cure. So the purchase was the Bubblegum Lip Scrub (picture below) the description says, "This sugary perfectly pink polisher keeps lips in tip top condition and tasting of candy floss". You apply some to your finger and rub it into your lips and then lick off the excess..... yummy! A product you can actually eat! It smells amazing like a fruity candy floss so not sure why they have named it bubblegum but hey ho. It's bright pink therefore I adore it. You need to apply lip balm afterwards and it leaves your lips smooth and soft. I would 110% recommend this if like me the winter is pure evil to your lips!
Even though it is on the dearer side you do get 25g and the pot is packed to the top. I also like the packaging, like any lush product they have kept it simple but it is fairly weighty, which i like.
If you guys do decide to buy this please let me know what you think I would love to hear your thoughts too.
As always keep shining <3

Customising Wellies
Customising Wellies
Wellies (or Wellington Boots) come in all different colours, patterns designs and heights. Since Festivals are becoming more and more popular so are wellies and they are now part of the festival fashion! I am off to V Festival with 4 friends in just under a month, so I have started to gather a few bits together!
I can be a little fussy when it comes to wellies as I struggle to find ones that fit correctly, as my calves are not a skinny as I would like them to be. Previously I have had tall ones but they weren't as comfy as I hoped they would be. So this year I have opted for some mid calve length wellies, they were from Tesco and I got them a couple of months ago. I think they were either £12 or £14! (Picture right)
I loved the floral print (obviously very big this season) with the little hints of pink! I didn't want over the top pinkness as we are doing fancy dress one day which involves wearing alot of pink, I shall save that as a surprise for when I get back!
Even though I love these wellies I just wanted to customise them slightly so they stand out!!! So I put my thinking cap on and did a bit of research and I love all the blingged up converse and havaianas, check some of these out one twitter! Amazing!

Anyways so I thought why can't I do it to my wellies! I decided to not use swarovski crystals as they are more expensive and lets face it I'm going to be in a muddy field, dancing around in crowds of people and may come off! So I opted for come cheap acrylic stones. £3.30 from ebay and they are soooooooooooo sparkly!http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/330751112247?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2649
I got 3 different sized stones in this wheel! 3mm, 2mm and 1mm, the 1mm are very small and I thought they would be very hard to use.
I started gather my tools together, super glue, tweezers and a orange stick. Oh and a towel so if there were any loose sparkles they wouldn't be all over my house! Which I don't think my other half would be so happy about.
I started at the bottom and alternated between a 2mm and a 3mm stone, I did this as I knew I wouldn't get the line perfectly straight and this would conceal it slightly. I put a small amount of glue them placed the stone with the tweezers. As shown below.
I then placed it more accurately with the orange stick and pushed it down. With the slanted edge this was easy to do and I whizzed through the first one!
I did a line up the back of each but this didn't seem enough SPARKLE... for me anyways so I then carried on round the top to each welly and wala!!!! Finished bling'd wellies!!!! :)
I'd love to hear your comments and suggestions of anything else I could add to them!!

Top 10 Nail Varnishes
It's time for my top ten nail varnishes, so lets see who made the cut!
I've included my fav base coat and top coat along with some basics and of course some sparkly!! Of course this is just all in my opinion and I'd love to hear your comments and thoughts and any new suggestions that might knock one out of there spot. Oh I must apologies for my appalling nails... I've recently moved house (last week) and lifting and unpacking doesn't agree with my hands!
Lets get the boring ones out the way... Base coat...No7 So Smooth Base Coat (12005) as the name suggests this is soooooo ssmmootthh however it's quiet thin but personally i like this in a base coat as i like to layer up with colour and then sparkle!!
Best top coat for me goes to Barry M Basecoat, Topcoat & Nail Hardener (Clear 54) I love the consistency of this product. The brush is a good size and the product transfers easily. It leaves a nice shine and protects against chipping of a few days, which for me is plenty as i like to change my nails a lot!!!!
The winner of best neutral colour for me is Nails Inc In Style Bare. I think this came free with a magazine and i'm so glad it has come into my life. It defiantly needs two coats and seems to take a while to dry. Again i love the brush and the product transfers well. When i'm using extremely dark colours i also tend to use this as a base coat because i think it's more protective as it's a thicker consistency than my base coat.
This is with one coat and as you can see it is quiet patchy!
Second coat and ta dar! The flash has made it look a bit strange but it's defiantly not patchy anymore!
Favourite black has to be Barry M Black 47 again this is nice a think, one coat and your ready to go, it also comes off fairly easy for a black! I have alot of Barry M products, as they are reasonably priced i tend to steer more towards them when i'm thinking about purchasing a colour i probably won't use as often as say a pink or a red or even a black but I just love their black!!! I keep going back to it, which to me is the sign of a good product!
And yes i realise my thumb is a complete mess, soap and glory hand food at the ready!
Now to the slighly more exciting stuff... The nail varnish i seem to wear more than ever is my Models Own in Sophie's Pink. Ok i have to admit it this was the first Models Own product i had purchased and the one and only reason is because of the name and i thought it was pretty awesome that it was called Sophie's Pink and my name is Sophie and i love pink. But wow! As soon as i took that first swipe love was found as i looked down at the little bottle! It's the nicest pink i've ever used, it lasts really well, love the brush! I tend to do two coats but if i'm in a rush one coat will do! Just a really good product!
This one i am wearing at the moment on all my fingers apart from my ring fingers. It's from Accessorize which to be honest I didn't realise sold beauty products so I purchased this more because I was intrigued. I saw this purple and was just wow that's it! I don't normally like any purple but i just love this one! It's not a massive pot but it seems to be lasting well! It has a very strong smell and the brush is thin but it is usable.
This is my new discovery, there I was browsing round Superdrug on a Saturday as you do and I saw a Look cosmetic stand! I got a few bits but this nail varnish is amazing! It's super sparkly and pink so obviously right up my street! This product needs building, one layer really isn't enough (top right picture) I tend to do two sometimes three layers, depending what look i want to achieve. I must say this product is soooooo hard to get off! I literally used more than ten cotton pads to get this off but that tends to come with the ground that is glittery nail varnishes! The bottles are quiet big the brush is a really good size! Personally i love this product! It's worth the effort that comes with getting it off! This is what i've got on my ring finger at the minute over the no7 base coat.
Yes another glittery one for all you lovely people, Models Own Juicy Jules (NP095) this can only really be worn over another colour! To make the glitter enough to be worn alone you would need too many layers! This over Sophie's Pink is one of my staple looks (this is shown in the picture). It comes off pretty easily for a glitter based polish but does smell strongly of that chemically smell but it soon goes once it's dried!
This is one of my newest that i have added to my collection.. another Models Own this is from the Beetle Juice Collection in Aqua Violet. As the name suggests it's a blue iridescent colour that changes to violet. This does need building up, one coat just isn't enough get the "full effect" as you can see from the picture... However you could wear just one coat if you like that look but personally i love the way two coats look.
Last but by no means least I have joined the new "magnetic" trend! Barry M Magnetic Blue 328 which comes with a swirly magnet.... Eeeekkk the excitement! Basically you put one coat on and leave it to dry.. then comes the exciting part the second coat the you have to hold the magnet over the top for about 10 seconds, it comes with a little arch so you can rest it on your finger. I love the effect! I also have the black/grey one but this blue is my favourite out of the two! This polish is sooo thick!!! You could just use it on it's own without the "magnetic" effect!
